  1. The Dio lineup was the best Sabbath ever had ,better than Ozzy on stage.
It was the Randy Roads incident that led to the breakup of he band. Dio would to have stayed until his solo albums were out in the 80s. Heaven and Hell tour was good to have all H&H play list. Could have had the same in
92 reunion tour, Ronnie had more a taste for art work than Tonni ..

  2. Tony, its nice to see how you and the rest of Black Sabbath are progressing during the End tour. I know once the tour is over, you will have promising days ahead as far as producing new music is concerned.

As the black Signature Epiphone guitar carves out riffs through the airways of rock and roll, the engravings of your legacy will forever be chiseled in halls of burnished onyx.

Best of luck and health always.

  4. Tony, just wanted to let you know a great friend of yours Glenn Hughes came out with a great album called Resonate. You may want to check it out. Its GRAND!! Listening to it gave me sharp memories of your solo work with Glenn back in 2005 from the album you made together called Fused. I hope 2017 contains some new music by you (whether it be another Sabbath album with the guys Geezer and Ozzy or a project with candidates like Tony Martin or Glenn Hughes–I am sure it would be a polished product of musicianship.

P.S. I read an article sometime ago that Glenn Hughes would be honored to make another solo album with you. It just proves the dynamics of your presence on earth. Good people are simply drawn to you.

I understand you are facing an operation on your throat. You will always have my support and prayers.

  5. TONY IOMMI—- THE LORD OF THE RIFF AND CAVALIER OF VERSATILITY. Tony, I recently read your contribution of a mellow song to a cathedral choir in Birmingham England. Admittedly it was a beautiful melodic piece of music to the community. Its superb to see how your expansion stretches into other people’s hearts.

At the same time I really hope 2017 unfolds a new album either with the Sabbath guys or someone like Tony Martin or Glenn Hughes. After all, your history made you the Lord of the Riff when it comes to the Electric Guitar. I hope any new interest does NOT dismiss the potential of a new rock and roll album. I am sure I speak not only for myself but millions of loyal Sabbath fans.

  6. Tony Iommi’s guitar is the sword drawn from the stone that became the flaming blade of all ages Its great to see how you are travelling with strength as The End Tour draws closer to the finale. I am confident since I recently read an article that you have so many leftover riffs, that you will make a great album whether its with the Sabbath camp or any ex affiliated member of Sabbath like Tony Martin or Glenn Hughes for instance. I hope any new project you encounter like the contribution of the melodic song to the Birmingham cathedral does NOT diminish the possibility of a good solid album. With bands like Metallica that recently came out with Hard Wired/Self Destruct album, I’m sure it gives you fuel to ignite a similar piece of metal majestic music. I am sure you will always retain a great balance in your triumphant career.

    Vinny
