Sabbath man launches Kerrang!
105.2FM!

Birmingham-born Black Sabbath guitarist Tommy Iommi returned to his hometown to
give Kerrang!’s new radio station the perfect start.
Helping to launch Kerrang! 105.2FM on Thursday, June 10, Iommi arrived at the
studios escorted by a fleet of 10 Harley Davidsons, before pressing the button
that put everything on air. The station then linked-up live with Dave Grohl in
LA, who introduced 105.2FM’s first ever track, the Foo Fighter’s All My Life.
“The West Midlands has needed a radio station like Kerrang! 105.2 for ages,”
said Iommi. “In fact, everywhere needs a station like this.”
